• Lay brick, block, and stone on chimneys and masonry structures
• Tuckpoint mortar joints and repair deteriorated sections
• Rebuild chimney crowns, caps, and damaged areas
• Read job specs and work to layout lines
• Inspect your own work and hold a high standard of finish

Support the chimney crew with scaffold setup and teardown, mortar mixing and carrying, material staging, and site cleanup. Physical, hands-on work — no experience required, we train the right people.

• Set up and break down scaffolding safely
• Mix and carry mortar to the mason throughout the day
• Stage and move materials — brick, block, stone, bags
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Assist the mason with whatever the job requires

Everything before the pour — grade prep, form setting, rebar and wire mesh placement, and making sure the site is ready. Attention to detail matters here; a bad form means a bad slab.

• Excavate and grade sub-base by hand
• Cut, set, and stake concrete forms to grade
• Place and tie rebar and wire mesh
• Install expansion joints and edge materials
• Coordinate timing with the finish crew on pour day

You finish what the crew sets up — floating, troweling, edging, and texturing concrete after the pour. Fast, skilled work under time pressure. Experience with flatwork required.

• Strike off, float, and edge fresh concrete after the pour
• Trowel to the specified finish — broom, smooth, or exposed aggregate
• Work quickly and accurately as the concrete sets
• Inspect the finished surface before it cures
• Clean and maintain finishing tools after every job

Run the masonry crew day to day — assign tasks, maintain quality, keep the job moving, and make sure the site is safe. You have the experience to spot problems before they happen and the communication skills to lead a team.

• Assign daily tasks to the masonry crew
• Ensure scaffolding is erected safely and correctly
• Inspect work quality and correct issues before they compound
• Communicate job progress and material needs to ownership
• Be the last set of eyes before we leave a job site

Lead the concrete crew from form setup through finish. Coordinate the form/prep team and finishers, manage the pour schedule, and hold the crew to a high standard. Concrete experience required.

• Coordinate form/prep and finish crews across jobs
• Schedule pours and manage concrete deliveries
• Verify forms are set correctly before calling for concrete
• Inspect finished work and sign off on quality
• Communicate job status and crew needs to ownership

Keep both crews stocked and ready to work — manage material inventory, stage job loads, receive deliveries, and make sure nothing runs out mid-job. This role keeps the whole operation moving.

• Maintain accurate stock counts for materials and supplies
• Stage and load materials for each day's jobs
• Receive deliveries and verify against purchase orders
• Flag low-stock items before they affect a job
• Keep the yard organized and tools properly stored after each day

Support day-to-day operations from the office — scheduling, invoicing, customer follow-up, and keeping things organized. Part-time position based in Munising.

• Answer customer calls and follow up on inquiries
• Schedule jobs and coordinate crew calendars
• Process invoices and track outstanding payments
• Coordinate vendor orders and material deliveries
• Support ownership with reporting and day-to-day admin tasks

Be the first face customers see. You visit job sites, gather measurements and photos, and walk homeowners through what we do — our app handles the pricing. No estimating experience required; we provide full training and a guided mobile tool that tells you exactly what to look for on every job type.

• Travel to job sites to meet customers and assess conditions
• Follow a guided app checklist — photograph key areas, record measurements, and document site conditions
• Ask the right questions and flag anything unusual (access issues, existing damage, drainage problems)
• Represent MNM professionally — be the person the customer feels good about
• Submit site data through the app; estimates are reviewed and finalized before going to the customer
• Follow up with customers and keep the pipeline moving

Keep MNM rolling — fix what breaks. Trucks, trailers, mixers, compressors, saws, hand tools. You triage repair tickets the crew submits from the field, prioritize by what's holding up jobs, and make the fixes happen. Part-time or full-time depending on workload.

• Triage incoming repair tickets from crew and admin
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on company vehicles and equipment
• Order parts and coordinate with vendors
• Track repair costs and time per job
• Keep the shop organized and tools where they belong
• Flag equipment that should be replaced vs. repaired
